The Yossi’s Cuts story
begins long before Yossi.
It all began in 1947 when Yossi’s paternal grandfather, a Holocaust survivor, escaped from Hungary and settled in Antwerp. It was there that he built a family while also building a business- a beloved butcher shop that was a hub of activity in the fledgling community.
Yossi grew up next door to the butcher shop. Instead of playing ball or reading books, he spent many hours behind the counter and behind the scenes learning anything and everything about meat and poultry.
Yossi eventually moved to the United States where he finally actualized a long time dream- a butcher shop of his very own. But instead of limiting it to one brick and mortar location, Yossi and his team bring the butcher of yesterday to today’s high end supermarkets.
