4-5 lb. brisket
1 large onion sliced
1 cup water
1 cup beer
2-3 Tbsp Bistro Bourbon Recipe in a Bottle
2-3 Tbsp Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup
Directions
1) Preheat oven to 325°F
2) Remove meat from refrigerator, allow to sit for 30 minutes and come to room temperature.
3) Slice the onion and place on bottom of the baking pan.
4) Remove meat from packaging and pat dry with paper towel, place meat on top of the onion slices.
5) Pour water and beer around the meat.
6) Rub Bistro Bourbon over the meat.
7) Spread Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup over the meat.
8) Place a piece of parchment over the meat.
9) Seal pan tightly with foil.
10) Bake 3-4 hours until fork tender.
11) Allow meat to sit 15 minutes before slicing against the grain.
Yossi’s Tips
1. You can easily half the recipe for a smaller piece of meat. Cooking time will be cut down as well to 2½-3 hours.
2. Easy prep that yields an absolute flavor bomb.
