4 garlic cloves, crushed
1 small onion, diced finely
¼ cup Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Syrup
3 Tbsp low sodium soy sauce
2 Tbsp brown sugar, packed
2 Tbsp ketchup
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp Lemon Garlic Fusion Recipe in a Bottle
Directions
1) Measure all marinade ingredients into a gallon sized resealable bag. Shake well until combined.
2) Wipe meat with a paper towel then place meat in the bag.
3) Seal and shake well.
4) Allow meat to marinade at least 30 minutes on the counter, turning every 10 minutes to coat both sides well. (You may marinade the meat overnight in the refrigerator, then bring meat to room temperature before preparing)
5) Preheat oven to high broil.
6) Transfer meat along with marinade to a 9" x 13" baking pan.
7) Place pan on the lowest rack and broil 8 minutes per side. Reduce oven temperature to 350°F and bake 15-20 minutes, on the center rack, until you thermometer reads 125-130°F for medium rare or 145°F for medium.
8) Remove meat from oven. Allow to sit for 15 minutes before slicing against the grain.
Yossi’s Tips
For a great alternate flavor, substitute the lemon garlic fusion for chili lime rub.
